To work within the security industry in the province of Ontario, an individual requires the mandatory ministry approved basic Security Guard Training. This training program is required for individuals such as: bouncers, security guards, loss-prevention personnel & bodyguards.
How to complete your ontario security training and get your
Training Information
This training program is available online and can be completed in 40 hours. You can complete this training program on your own time and pace.
Once you have completed your online training, you will receive your Training Completion Number. This number will allow you to register for your Ministry exam and apply for your Private Investigator license in the province of Ontario.

Online Training Options
The online training option is accessible 24/7, which allows students to complete the course on their own time, from their own home.
All written material in this training course is narrated to the student. Complete your training from home, on your PC, Cell phone or Tablet. Simply login and complete the training on your own pace and your own time.
To be eligible to apply for a security guard license in the province of Ontario, you are required to have a valid Emergency Level First Aid & CPR Certification. If you currently have a valid First Aid and CPR certificate, you will not be require to re-certify in First Aid and CPR. Should you require to complete the First Aid Training, this 1 day training component will be completed in-class and is not offered online.
First Aid training locations are available throughout Ontario and will be scheduled in your City. Classes are held weekly, and you may chose from any of the available dates and locations once you are contacted by one of our service representatives.
Once registered you will be contacted with details on all First Aid locations and training dates. Once your payment is complete, you will receive your Username and Password within 24 hrs. to begin your online training.
